RANKED is operated by Minzy Studios LLC ("we," "us," "our"), Burlington, Vermont, United States. This policy explains what information the RANKED mobile app collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using RANKED, you agree to this policy.
RANKED is for adults who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use RANKED or provide any information to us. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
When you first open RANKED you enter your birthday to confirm you are 18 or older. That check runs on your device. Your birthday is not stored and is never sent anywhere. The app keeps only a general age band, which it uses to pick fitness standards.
We collect only what RANKED needs to work. What we collect depends on whether you create an account.
Everything below stays on your own device.
You can create an account with an email address and password to back up your training to the cloud, restore it on another device, join a private Gym, and connect privately with people you invite. Training never requires an account. If you create one, we store the following in your private account:
Access rules on our cloud tables limit this data to your own account, except the narrow Gym and connection sharing described in section 5.
If you choose to use live Coach, RANKED asks for your permission before the first message leaves your phone. When you approve a live request, RANKED sends the message you type, up to 12 recent live-chat messages, and a compact training summary. That summary can include your current plan, recent session summaries, units, experience level, equipment, muscle ranks, personal records, stalled lifts, streak, and weekly volume. RANKED does not add your profile name, full birthday, bodyweight, private workout notes, Gym identity, or social data. Anything you type in a live message is included, so avoid personal information. Injury and safety conversations stay on your phone and are not included in later live-chat history.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it. Coach gives general training guidance, not medical advice. It does not diagnose or treat, and it points you to a doctor or physical therapist when something is beyond training. Safety guidance for pain and injury is built into the app and never calls the AI service.
A Gym is a private group that you join only by invitation. A Private Crew supports up to 10 people. Community Gym options support up to 50, 250, or 1,000 people. There is no public directory and no way to find strangers. Members of the same Gym can see each other's display name and @handle, and nothing else by default: not your rank, email address, birthday, workouts, or notes.
Gym invites expire after seven days and allow a limited number of uses. Any member can block or report another member, and the Gym owner can remove a member. A report contains only the report category and the account identifiers involved. Reports are reviewed and appropriate action is taken when necessary. You can leave a Gym at any time, and an owner can dissolve a Gym for everyone.
One-to-one connections also require a private invite and acceptance. For each accepted connection, you can separately choose whether to share Workouts, Logs, Charts, or Calendar. Every category starts off. You can turn a category off, disconnect, or block the person at any time. RANKED does not share your email address, birthday, private workout notes, Coach conversations, or other account details through a connection.
RANKED works with a small number of service providers. We share only what each one needs, and only to run RANKED for you. None of them may use your information for their own advertising.
earned-api.mikebelyea.com. That service uses OpenRouter to send the request to DeepSeek and returns the response. Our coach service keeps no copy of the conversation after answering. OpenRouter and DeepSeek process the request under their applicable service and privacy terms.We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics-for-advertising services.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or behavioral advertising. We share information only in these situations:
Without an account, your information lives only on your device and stays there until you delete it, reset it in the app, or delete the app. With an account, your cloud data is kept until you delete your account. Coach conversations are not stored by our coach service; it passes them along to generate a reply and keeps nothing afterward. Your coach chat history is stored on your device only.
When you choose Delete Gym account, we delete the authentication account and all associated cloud data: profile, workouts, plans, ranks, streaks, Gym membership, invites, private connections, and sharing choices. Training already stored on that iPhone remains on the iPhone. If you own a Gym, it is dissolved for every member. Reports you filed or that were filed about you are kept only as an anonymized category record, with no account identifiers, so moderation history stays honest.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. You can always contact us about your data using the details below.
Data is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS/TLS. Cloud tables use per-account access rules so that only you can read your data. The keys and credentials that power the service are kept on our servers and are never included in the app itself. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy as RANKED grows or as the law changes. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
